Marshall County Historical Society Museum is sponsoring a Brown Bag Event (bring your lunch) on Friday, September 9, 2022, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. at the museum at 123 N. Michigan Street in Plymouth.
Historic downtown Bremen has transformed in the past 5 years as volunteers have pushed the boundaries regarding how design, architecture, and historic preservation impacts people and overall place. Bremen Community Cares Main Street – a nonprofit overseen by Matthew VanSoest – is championing many Quality of Life initiatives. Their current/ongoing capstone project is restoring the 1875 Lutheran church and transforming it into a community and performing arts center.
Learn more about their journey, the process, and lessons learned. Matthew VanSoest is a lifelong member for Bremen, a 2004 graduate of Bremen High School, with a Master’s Degree in Architecture and Urban Design.
Come and see what’s happening in our county. Pack a lunch and join us!
