Something I like to say all the time is “If you want to preserve history, you have to capture it.” We often get offered random artifacts from Bremen’s history, but those rarely include things or even photos from events that just happened.

Take a look at our album of recent photos and notice how much has changed just in the last four years.

  • Party Pack became El Super.
  • Handy Spot and the Smoke Shop were established.
  • Franky’s restaurant came and went–replaced by El Rancho Viejo.
  • Las Catrinas came and went–replaced by Latin Grill House.
  • Sunrise House of Pancakes, the Dog Lb, and Aurelia Salon were established.
  • Numerous houses got built.
  • The Town of Bremen marquee sign went up.
  • The Bremen Arts Workshop got started.
  • The streets were repaved and new planters built.
  • The Mean Bean and b Fit were remodeled.
  • The library was renovated.
  • Bi-County Towing was turned into a municipal lot.

2022 - Rancho Viejo

I drive around and try to capture such things, but if you think you’ve captured recent developments or events that I haven’t, we’d love to have copies of your photos!
