Fannie Lidecker graduated from Bremen High School in 1902. She went on to study at Valparaiso College (after leaving Moe Lowenstine’s clothing store where the Wooden Peel and Mean Bean are today) and returned to Bremen to teach school for many years. She married Arthur Keyser in 1910.
When Fannie was still just a sophomore in school, she created composition books that remain in the family. Composition Book 1 was for physics and features not only Fannie’s gorgeous handwriting but also fantastic illustrations of the concepts she was studying.

We’d like to thank the Keyser family for donating these items and Fannie’s collection of textbooks as well.
