August 1920: Drunken youths from Bremen harass motorists at Lake Maxinkuckee… and get arrested. The miscreants were Ed Miller, Clyde Coverstone, Ollie Klopfenstine, Rudy Klopfenstine, Walter Kimes, and Harold Heckaman (the Pharos-Trib gets their names a little wrong; the Enquirer got them right [mostly]). “Youths” is rather generous here; the men were in their 40s, and most were old friends and had performed in the local Apollo music club together in the 1890s and 1900s.
