Theodore Bauer’s love of music caused him to eventually turn his barber shop in a music shop and rent the barber chairs to other barbers.
The Cronin murder case mentioned at the bottom, in Wilhelm’s tailor shop, was one in which Dr Patrick H Cronin, an Irish immigrant to the United States, a physician, and a member of Clan na Gael in Chicago was murdered by affiliates of Clan na Gael after he accused the leadership of embezzlement. His nude body was found blocking a sewer.
