In 1897, motion pictures came to Bremen for the first time. The Bremen Theatre did not exist yet (that would come along in 1910), so the presentation was shown in the hall on the second floor of the Wright Building, what is today Las Catrinas.
The only part of the presentation described is a film of employees leaving the Clark Thread mill in Rhode Island. That film has been lost, but it was very likely an imitation of the famous Lumiere Brothers film of workers leaving their own factory, made in 1895.
